Specialty Acidizing & Chemical Treatments
WTC is equipped to support specialized treatment programs involving HCL, diverter, ClO₂, xylene, and related field applications.
For more complex acidizing operations, WTC supports specialty treatment programs using diverter, HCL, ClO₂, and xylene. One example includes a treatment involving 21K gallons of HCL, 4,500 lbs. of diverter with tracer built in, and 20K gallons of ClO₂ provided by a third party.

WTC’s lab capabilities support both cementing and acidizing operations. On the cementing side, the lab includes consistometers, compressive strength testing, viscometers, static fluid loss testing, high-speed blenders, balanced scales, mud/spacer compatibility testing, and general water analysis. On the acidizing side, WTC supports testing and analysis through equipment such as a centrifuge, oven, water bath, fume hood, HUCK spectrophotometer, titration equipment, water analysis, and acid/oil sludge compatibility testing.

Blend & Chemistry Support
WTC supports acidizing operations with blend evaluation, surfactant technology, and compatibility-focused testing.
WTC’s acidizing technology includes everyday acid blend surfactants with strong interfacial tension and surface tension lab results. The Q1 acidizing presentation also references CrudeSurf Max, a WTC-designed additive that incorporates surfactants and solvents for select acid jobs. Common acid blend packages include NEFE, NER, AS10X, and NECS, along with HCL/Xylene blends such as 90/10 and 80/20.
