Safety-Driven Field Operations
At West Texas Cementers, safety is built into every job through training, field oversight, equipment readiness, and operational accountability.
Built Around Training, Oversight, and Accountability
WTC’s safety program supports field execution through structured training, active management observations, and routine job and yard audits.
Safety is not treated as a separate checklist at WTC — it is part of how jobs are planned, supported, and completed. Both the cementing and acidizing presentations highlight PEC Core Safety Training, active observations from Safety Management, job and yard audits, and registration on PEC and ISNetworld as part of WTC’s safety approach.

Active Safety Management
WTC reinforces safety in the field through active observations, audits, and ongoing operational oversight.
WTC’s presentations reference active observations from Safety Management along with job and yard audits. This gives the safety page a strong message: WTC is not only training crews before the job — the company is also monitoring, reviewing, and reinforcing safety practices in the field and at the yard.

Safety Support for Acidizing Operations
Acidizing operations require trained crews, reliable equipment, and safety-focused jobsite preparation.
WTC’s acidizing operations are supported by specific safety training and facility safeguards. The acid presentation lists respiratory protection, H2S Clear, and safe driver training, along with an acid loading dock equipped with two safety eyewash and shower locations. The acid loading dock also includes a 6,500-gallon mixing tank, four 300-gpm mag pumps, and the ability to load transports in under 30 minutes.
